On this day and evening

On this evening of 1864, the 77th New York Infantry made a “flank movement was made, which brought us, after thirty hours marching, on the north bank of the North Anna, and near Jericho Ford” before the Battle of North Anna (a series of small actions in central Virginia); on this day in 1871, a sewer line was laid under Broad Street in Schuylerville; in 1971; the Schuylerville Drum and Bugle Corp, the Green Sabres perform at NYS Lions meeting in Syracuse; in 2001, the second meeting on the Town of Saratoga Comprehensive Land use plan was held at the Quaker Springs Fire House and in 2002, residents of the Schuylerville Central School District pass an annual budget of 22.4 million dollars by a vote of 516 to 213 and approved funding of the Schuylerville Public Library and Sara Osborne won reelection to a five year term on the Board of Education.
