On this day

On this day in 1774, Britain passes the Coercive Act against rebellious Massachusetts; in 1872, the newspaper noted much illness in village; in 1946, the Youth Center opened in O’Brien block of Broad Street and the Historic Marshall House in the Town of Saratoga was recommended for the National Historic Preservation Board designation.
