SARATOGA LAKE COMMITTEES NAMED
The following committees have been named by President J. A. P. Ketchum of the Saratoga Lake association:
Regatta Rifle, trap shooting and field trials
Bait and fly casting
It will be noticed that the association has appointed committee to look after every sport that the membership are interested in from fly casting to field trials. During the summer a fly and bait casting tournament may be held and suitable prizes awarded.
In the field trials the committee will see that they receive due publicity and as they attract sportsmen from all over the country and are interested to watch, no doubt there will be a big attendance when the little beagle chases “bunny” in the Luther preserve at Wayville. Efforts are being made by sportsmen to have the grouse of bird do trials held in that vicinity also.
This was reported in Saratogian 3 March 1917
(Due to the transcribing time, I am only going to list the committees and provide a link to the graphic with the names.) (The full committee lists are at http://ift.tt/2m4zXKb )
