100 Years Ago the Village water supply was reported on

100 years ago in Schuylerville “The village board held an important meeting in the village clerk’s office, Broad Street, Monday evening at 8 o’clock. There was a full attendance. The report regarding the village water supply was received from the State Board of Health. This report was filed and ordered published. In meeting has been called for the citizens of the village for February 15 at 7 PM at the engine house, church street, for the purposes of talking over the water system and supply the village in the advisability of making a survey for a reservoir to catch the lower stream in the water supply over the Hudson river and the new reservoir to be used as a pumping reservoir. County Judge George R Salisbury of Saratoga Springs has been retained to represent the village in the matter of Washburn vs the village of Schuylerville” according to the Saratogian 7 February 1917
