#onthisdate and at this time in 1923 the Schuylerville School celebrated a Patriotic program in grade exercises. The Schuylerville Standarded reported:
Seventh and Eighth Grades Honor Memory of Washington and Lincoln
The members of the seventh and eighth grades of the local school commemorated, by fitting exercises in the school on Wednesday afternoon, the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln, George Washington and Thomas Edison.
The program opened with the song, America the Beautiful, by the entire assembly, followed by the flag salute, and continued with the following numbers:
